I sent an email to my list of friends asking the same question, how are you???

I have been traveling this past weekend. The Arizona Spring Women’s Event with Baseball Chapel occurred on Friday, and I was a speaker. I was a little concerned but when the advisories began but when the event wasn’t canceled I got on a plane to spend time with baseball ladies. Wednesday, we found out the MLB was suspending Spring Training. The chaos that ensued was expected. So many questions and not enough answers.

We gathered with over 100 ladies to support, love, and encourage each other. We accomplished our mission.

I am now home with my hubby, praying we stay healthy and can help others who are in need during these disconcerting times.

Life is uncertain and unsettling…but God.

“God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.”

Psalm 46:1-3

I want to encourage you to seek God as your refuge when your thoughts and fears take us down roads we don’t need to travel.

God is our strength. We don’t have to have it all together. He has it under control!

He is always with us and helps us in times of trouble. Call out to Him. He will answer.

The response to my friends on my email list was quite enlightening. A few are having to travel for work and were concerned now that they are home about exposing others just in case they are carriers. Many are healthcare workers who have been exposed and are concerned about their families at home who they go back to each day. Some are ‘older’ but are pouring out their prayers for others more than themselves.

How are YOU??? Really, how are you? How can I pray for you? Please let me know!
